Monday 24th September 2007:

Just letting everyone know that I'll be updating my gallery page very soon. Because I'll be getting some help with it soon as I don't know much about HTML or anything else about web design.

We'll be having a friend of ours coming around who knows a lot about web design and he will be helping me update my gallery page and maybe some other areas of my website, which I've been wanting to do for a long time now. But haven't been able to do it because I don't know how to do it.

So my gallery page will be updated with all of my recent work from my recent exhibition in May this year and other work from other exhibitions.

In other news, I've got an account on cafepress.com where I'll be selling items in my shop there. Such as clothing, hats/caps, mugs, calendars, bags and a number of other things.

I've only just created the store during the past couple of days so still getting used to it. But I have been a member of the website since last year but I've only decided to actually work on the store a bit more now.

If you would like to visit the store I'll have a link to it in my links area and on here as well.

Come visit my store on CafePress!

Thursday 31st May 2007:

Just letting everyone know that my recent exhibition "The World on Tour" which is listed below was successful and about 30 or 40 people showed up for the opening on Saturday 5th of May. I probably sold about 12 items of artwork which consisting of both prints and paintings.

The theme of the exhibition was based on tourism and places I have travelled to such as Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, UK, Italy, France, USA, Hong Kong and other cities and countries around the world.

I had a couple of DVDs playing on a computer screen which were Tourism Promotional DVDs from each state in Australia, where I have travelled to in the past or planing to go there in the near future. I'm always planning a holiday to go somewhere.

In result of my recent exhibition I have a number of conmissions to start working on for a number of people wanting to buy some of my work once I have started doing some new work again over the next couple of weeks.

I'm also planning to enter an art competition which a friend of ours from Melbourne told me about which is based in Melbourne. The two entries are due late June. So I'll be pretty busy over the next couple of weeks doing new work for the conmissions and for the art prize in Melbourne.

If my work gets accepted the exhibition will be in Melbourne between Tuesday 3rd July until Saturday 14th July 2007 at the 45downstairs Gallery in Melbourne which I think is in Collins Street but I'm not sure because I haven't been to it before and I only found out about the competition yesterday.

However if I do get accepted I'll be publishing the details on this page of my website and in my newsletter as well which your most welcome to subscribe to by going to my Contacts page for more information.

Thursday 26th October 2006: Today is my 6th month anniversary of having my website online. I have been online since Friday 26th of May 2006. So far I have sold one print from my website since I've been online. So thank you for visiting my website over the past 6 months of being online and buying my work online as well.

Here's to another 6 months! Looking forward to having my one year anniversary next year on 26th of May 2007!

29th August 2006: Got back from my holiday to Darwin in the Northern Territory last Tuesday 22nd August. Had great fun on the whole holiday including the tour as well.

Saw about 10 crocodile's on the tour and plenty of Aboriginal Rock Art sites and also visited an Aboriginal Community where we watched a group of men doing some painting and also a lady weaving a basket.

Went to a night market at a beach called Mindil Beach Markets which are on every Thursday night from 5pm - 10pm. Bought a couple of photo prints and some T-shirts and tasted some crocodile meat which tasted a bit like chicken I thought. I also tried some wallaby meat as well.

The overall trip was well worth it but I wish I could of stayed a couple more days longer because there was a few things I wanted to see but ran out of time. At least the weather was really nice and not too hot either with mostly nice warm days.

Mostly did a lot of filming with my new digital video camera but I did take a few photos as well.

The trip was well worth it and suggest it to anyone who is interested or thinking about going up there for a holiday. Best time to go is during the Dry Season which is during our winter because during the Wet Season that's when it gets really hot and humid so best stay away during the summer months!

I'll be going back to Darwin again sometime soon so I can spend more time there next time.

12th August 2006: Going on a trip to Darwin in the Northern Territory this Wednesday 16th August for a week. To go on a four day tour with APT (Australian Pacific Touring) to Kakadu National Park, Arnhem Land, Katherine, Katherine Gorge then back to Darwin.

Bought a digital video camera last weekend so I'll be taking that with me including my digital camera as well so I can film the trip as well as take photos during the tour. Then come home again on Tuesday 22nd and use some of the photos as new work.

At least the weather will be nice and warm compaired to here where it's been cold! In Darwin lately it's been around 30'c most days which will be nice to get away from the cold for a week. Wish it was for longer but got to come back home to the cold weather in Canberra some stage!

10th July 2006: Following on with my new work that I'm about to start for my solo exhibition next year in May. I'm also going to be doing some extra work so I'll be able to sell my work on a stall at some local markets here in Canberra where I'll probably do the stall once a month.

Once I have enough work for the stall I'll be annoucing it on here on my "news" page and in my mailing list of which markets the stall will be at and what dates I'll be there.. I'll be selling prints, paintings, cards and maybe T-shirts as well.

4th July 2006: I am just about to start working towards another solo exhibition for the first two weeks of May next year and it will be at Megalo Print Studio + Gallery again. The theme will be a world theme of the places I have visited in Australia and overseas and they will be all brand new work never seen in public before! There will be a DVD playing of showing places that I have visited which will be played during the opening. So stay tuned to my mailing list for updates.

15th June 2006: I have recieved an email from the Canberra Times with the newspaper article from the review from my recent exhibition at Megalo earlier this month. 1st May 2006: I have also been told by the staff of Healthpact that the window exhibit of my art work has been
receiving a lot of good feedback. I have also been fortunate enough to have sold some of my work through the exhibit.

21st Feb 2006: I've got an exhibition coming up on
Monday 27th March until Monday 24th April for four weeks. The exhibition is just a small window exhibit with some of my art work. Open: During business hour, Address: Healthpact, Ground Floor, London Court, 13 London Circuit, Canberra City.

1st Jan 2006: Wishing everybody a Happy New Year!

1st Dec 2005: Thought I'd let you know that we've just put our Christmas lights up on our house.

22nd Nov 2005: I've just finished painting my art work on a traffic controller box this afternoon. For those people who don't know what a TCB is well it's a box that's next to the traffic lights which controls them so it knows when it wants to change the lights from red to green and so on. That's what a
traffic controller box is. The title for my TCB (Traffic Controller Box) is called "The Dog Box"
